Toob (pronounced Tube) holds its own by challenging what we’ve come to expect from a lounge collection. Anchored by strong geometric elements and a thin, airy structure, the seat and arms of the chair and stools are intended to feel like they’re floating, held together only by a thin metal line. The lightness and airiness are grounded by the presence of strong, angular upholstered pieces, which create tension to produce a unique silhouette.
The Toob lounge collection, designed by EOOS for Keilhauer, is comprised of a lounge chair, a counter stool, a bar stool, and an occasional table, all unified by their shared minimalist metal frames and geometric elements. The Toob lounge chair features cylindrical armrests, the only curved element present within the design. This cylindrical rest also appears in the Toob stool’s backrest. Rounding out this collection is the Toob occasional table, which features a circular steel design detail that connects the table’s four legs together. This steel circle is also present in the Toob counter and bar stools.
The Toob collection is certified carbon neutral. We took every possible step to reduce carbon emissions, from sustainably sourcing materials and responsible manufacturing to a carefully planned end-of-life and recyclability plan, all verified by third parties. To eliminate any remaining carbon created during the manufacturing process of this product, we invest in third-party verified, carbon-offset projects.
From its inception, Toob was designed with the well-being of the environment in mind. In addition to being a third-party-certified, carbon-neutral product, Toob is constructed with FSC-certified wood components, contributing to sustainable forestry practices and ensuring a positive environmental impact. Toob is shipped from facilities that contribute zero waste to landfill and which offset 100% of electricity use with renewable energy credits. Toob carries BIFMA LEVEL 3 and SCS Global Services certifications for indoor air quality at the Indoor Advantage Gold level.
