The 100th Anniversary Dinner Set was specially designed to honor and commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey.
This concept underlines reflection of the pattern of the first postage stamp used in the Early Republican Period on the dinnerware. ”With the concept of Republic Tables in its 100th Anniversary”. In this design, which started out with the concept of “Republican Tables” in 1923, traditional forms on the stamp were synthesized through modern touches.
Even though progressing with modern lines in the form of dinnerware, the design was enhanced with the first postage stamp patterns used in the Republic Period. The 6 lines used in the form of the union of the moon and the star represent the 6 basic principles that Atatürk, the founder of the Turkish Republic, founded the Republic.
The crescent and star forms, which are the symbols of the Republic of Turkey, are used in saltshakers and plates. In this way, a special collection was designed by maximizing the national perception with the form.
A utilitarian design has been made that can be easily held, carried, and served from the projection section where the crescent and star is located.
The 100th Year Dinner Set is designed by integrating traditional patterns with modern forms. The crescent and star form and the sequin pattern are placed, providing ease of grip and reveal the difference between dinnerware.
Based on the idea of “How will the tables be in the 100th anniversary of the Republic”, it combines the stamp, one of the significant symbols of the Republic, with modern forms, bringing the harmony of nostalgia and the contemporary to the fore
