1790 is a celebration of the ties that unite us as a species, of food and gathering. The first cooking stoves date back to 1790, something that forever changed our idea of cooking and led to the kitchen as we know it today.
In all corners of the world and for the most part of our recent history, preparing and sharing food, has strengthened bonds, continued traditions and told the stories of our heritage. Based on that idea, the 1790 project was born to develop a kitchen that would encourage people to gather and pay tribute to the ritual of cooking.
The product is a flexible and adaptable system, capable of configuring a fully functional kitchen that promotes a strong connection with food, emphasizes ergonomics, and stimulates a collaborative use of space. Composed of aluminum structures with drawer units, sliding trays, shelves, countertops and accessories, the system allows the configuration of open or closed shelving systems and storage, low wall units and islands, with the possibility of appliance integration.
Light structures, natural wood elements, 4-inch countertops and a sense of openness, altogether seal the identity of the product. 1790 is offered in many finishes within a curated material and color palette that includes earth-toned aluminum and sintered stones, natural woods and vertical reeded glass, to achieve a timeless product with a strong aesthetic appeal.
1790 combines a strong concept, with refined materials and a sophisticated design; and has one singularity, which is to be 100% compatible with other systems of the brand. This amplifies the range of solutions given by the product, adds character and functionality to all the brand’s products, and allows them to acquire new meaning and possibilities.
