The 4,000-7,000-lb. capacity Hyster® H40-70A pneumatic tire forklift models offer robust standard features that help to improve operator comfort throughout shifts, keep the total cost of ownership low, and bolster operator confidence and productivity – all derived from direct feedback from operators, managers, technicians, safety coordinators, and other professionals.
The H40-70A is part of the A Series, a new line of forklift trucks from Hyster manufactured using the company’s A+ Logic design philosophy to provide solutions for metals, lumber, manufacturing, and other applications. A+ Logic is a scalable approach that begins with the strong base of the A Series truck platform and allows customers to choose the options they need from a fully integrated set of scalable and adjustable features. The flexibility to get only the options needed enables the H40-70A to deliver the capability operations required while protecting budgets. Durable components and extended service intervals help further control maintenance spend and bolster reliability and uptime.
These trucks are designed for high levels of visibility and comfort to equip operators for optimal performance all shift long. In particular, the operator compartment enables easy entry and exit with a lowered seat, contoured hood, increased floor space, and generous head and shoulder clearance. A low dash and wide mast design provide excellent forward visibility.
The innovative Hyster Dynamic Stability System (DSS) is standard on the A Series. DSS is a maintenance-free solution that continually monitors truck performance to help reduce the likelihood of forward and sideways tip-overs and reinforces operating best practices. When it detects the truck exceeding designated thresholds while carrying a load, DSS automatically implements measures like limiting truck speed and tilt range.
In addition to standard features, the A Series allows operations to best meet the needs of their unique application by optioning up. Many optional features are available, including an air ride full-suspension seat, lights and alarms, dual fuel LPG/gasoline engine, DuraMatch™ transmission, and a high-strength laminated glass roof that offers an unobstructed upward view to help operators place loads at height.
