AIM 3410 is a CNC controlled 4-axis machine designed specifically for machining all types of aluminum & PVC profiles. The design approach is built on the keywords ‘dynamic’, ‘compact’, and ‘innovative’ which are promised by the product’s technology and performance. The outer cover made of composite material, surrounds the mobile cabin with flowing and continuous surfaces in order to give the product a distinctive appearance. Additionally, cabin weight is reduced with the usage of composite parts. It also acts like a bumper in order to protect users from possible clashes. Warning light on moving cabin reflects the working area border on the floor.
As a result of the widespread use of aluminum profiles in various industries, the demand for CNC machines has increased. The AIM 3410 was designed with the aim of producing a faster, lighter, more compact, and more affordable machine optimized to meet the needs of the industry. By using composite material part ( RTM production method ) with an innovative approach in machine design, cabin weight has been reduced, user safety has been increased and a dynamic form that can not be produced by traditional sheet metal production methods has been gained.
Thanks to the low-height chassis and the clamps which are specially designed for this machine in an appropriate position, the operator can load the profiles easily. The electrical section is located behind the cabin in order to reduce the total area occupied by the product and to facilitate the wiring operations. The door of the machine is kept as large as possible to provide a better control and service area to the user. Its very small size and footprint make it space-saving on the factory floor.
The new design of AIM 3410 has reached its goals with its striking form and user-friendly solutions. The use of molded composite parts also shortened the total assembly and production time, resulting in labor and cost savings. Unlike the competitors, aluminum casting bodies are designed instead of steel construction for clamps and Z-axis bodies. Topology applications have been made on the cast parts in order to save energy and material. Thanks to its new CAM program which is specifically developed for the project, the operator can simulate the process before and during the operation via the wide control panel.
