Designed with a traveller-centric approach for lean consumption and manufacturing: versatile for different sizes of suitcases, just one product for any kinds of urban cyclist and riders. Vertically adjustable for a comfortable ride: the weight of the luggage rests on moped’s saddle or on bike’s backrack. Foldable when not in use: to be easily stowed or carried attached to the suitcase through the sleeves. TheBellBoy srl is a startup & design studio focused on innovation and sustainable mobility. The Travelmate is the first of our products/patents and it will be released in Summer ’24 (Kickstarter campaign) We strongly believe that design is not just about aesthetics, it should also be a problem solver: statistically the rolling suitcase is the favourite luggage when at the airport or at the train station but it is an obstacle in the first/last mile of a journey, micromobility is not a viable solution and public transport has a poor commuting experience when travelling with rolling luggage. With a design thinking approach and a problem solving attitude our team has designed this product to be the best travel companion throughout the whole journey.
Our cities are becoming car-free, while cycling and micromobility is spreading around all cities, expecially in Europe. It is time to help travellers commute in a different way when getting around with luggage, bridging the gap between micromobility and long-distance travel.
