The new BrushLock cable bushing from the German startup BrushBoxx is used to seal cable penetrations, e.g., in raised floors, and thus minimizes the unwanted escape of cooling air. It thus improves cooling and energy efficiency in the data center. Flexible brushes guarantee a tight enclosure of the cables and minimize airflow. The product contributes to energy savings in the fast-growing future data center market and is thus important for reducing emissions worldwide.
Specially designed, fully recyclable cardboard packaging avoids excessive waste on site while protecting the environment. The X- Cover is an integral part of the assembly process and serves not only as a kick plate (load up to 200kg), but also as a marking aid in the production of raised floor cutouts. This component and the matching negative mold in the underlying component communicate the formal characteristics of the BrushLock product brand. The color and labeling of the X-Cover can be adapted to customer requirements.
The two halves of the BrushLock butt together in the middle. This allows the cables to pass through the center of the BrushLock and the brushes effectively seal around the cables. This allows the X-Cover to remain permanently on the BrushLock during operation. An edge protector is integrated on the underside of the BrushLock to prevent damage to the cable from sharp cut edges. The holistically thought-out functional integration of assembly aids, handling, additional locking options and packaging ensure a completely new and fresh appearance on the target market.
For a strong product brand, not only the product but also the logo, packaging, website, and sales documents were developed from a single source as part of the design development. The holistically thought-out functional integration of assembly aids, handling, additional closure options and packaging ensure a completely new and fresh appearance on the target market.
