Cold Plunge by Hydro Systems brings revitalizing cold hydrotherapy to a traditional tub. A wellness trend, cold hydrotherapy involves soaking in water 59ºF or below and helps to reduce inflammation, increase metabolism, boost immune systems, and accelerate muscle and joint recovery.
Normally, cold hydrotherapy requires a separate dedicated tub; however, using a fully integrated hydrotherapy system, this technology can be specified in one tub, along with other technologies, i.e. chroma therapy, jets, in nearly all of Hydro System’s tub applications: freestanding, alcove, or drop-in. The need for having two dedicated tubs—one for cold hydrotherapy; the other for heat hydrotherapy is also eliminated, and users can partake in the ultimate contrast therapy program going from cold to hot treatments using the same vessel for all treatments.
Hydro System’s proprietary water-chilling system features advanced ozone, UV sanitization. Through its pioneering UV system, ozone and UV light are infused into the bath, which helps to disinfect the water and keep it clean, so that water can remain in the tub and be used for up to five days.
Additionally, the chiller used to cool the water is fully remote and does not need to be installed or located next to the tub. This flexibility enables the hospitality property or homeowner to maintain a clean-lined, and minimalist look in the bath and be untethered to the cooler.
Hydro Systems is the only company enabling integrated cold hydrotherapy across its product portfolio, spanning single- and multi-family bath, luxury hotel, and spa applications while also offering the ability to add hydrotherapies in one tub application.
All Hydro Systems’ tubs are made in the USA individually by hand and are fully customized to suit any setting or style. While a range of standard and premium colors are available, the brand also offers the ability to color-match any shade.
