Connect 2.0 elevates the transit experience with a visual simplicity and quiet sophistication that complements surrounding architecture and landscaping. Designed in partnership with Designworks, a BMW Group company, timeless expression elevates both the traveler’s transportation experience and the brand experience of municipalities, corporate, healthcare and university campuses, and many other public and private outdoor spaces.
Connect 2.0 shelter’s visual simplicity and modular capability let its beauty and versatility shine. An innovative center support system easily adapts a shelter’s length to a stop’s physical location and level of traffic, all while maintaining a clean and intentional design presence. Modular bays create shelters in 8’, 12’, 16’ and 24’ lengths, enabling Connect 2.0 to offer the specificity of a custom shelter solution with greater value and simplicity of specification.
The shelter’s integrated and layered LED lighting subtly illuminates sidewalks, curbs, and the shelter’s interior and immediate surroundings. Lights can be powered via grid or solar panels. The ADA-compliant shelter is available in different configurations of tempered laminated safety glass side panels, offering varying degrees of enclosure while maintaining an open and airy visual presence. Glass, solid honeycomb aluminum panel, and aluminum louvered roof options create unique design statements that also address site requirements and climate conditions.
