The innovative measurement technology module ‘CrossMT’ makes it easy to conveniently measure important parameters at a wide variety of locations in the control cabinet. It does not only open up intelligent and connective possibilities for the basic components from Wöhner, but also works with solutions from other manufacturers.
An interesting future-oriented solution that ensures greater efficiency and can thus also make an important contribution to technical sustainability.
The CrossMT represents the entry into the digitalization of the successful basic system CrossBoard from Wöhner. In combination with a wide variety of applications, the module adds intelligent functions and connectivity wherever the relevant components in the control cabinet do not have these features out of the box. It measures current, voltage and temperature and calculates derivable quantities such as power, energy, phase angle and frequency. The corresponding data can be output via various communication interfaces such as IO-Link, USB-C or digital inputs and outputs.
Status LEDs at the top and bottom of the device provide users with particular ease of use and a maximum overview.
As a fully electronic, open-supplier solution, the CrossMT is suitable for numerous application scenarios such as the measurement of feeds to determine mains quality, mains stability and energy consumption, measurement at a secured outgoing terminal for fuse monitoring and measurement in combination with a motor protection switch for determining key motor characteristics and for drawing conclusions about the motor state.
The consumption of the module is extremely low. Therefore, it provides significant information on the possible need for repair or replacement of control cabinet components – and enables predictive maintenance.
