The Crown SP is a Series of electric-powered warehouse vehicles designed to safely lift operators and loads up to 1250 kg. With a total lift height of over 10 meters, they can access multiple levels of storage racks to efficiently perform stock picking operations in modern warehouses.
With the ever-increasing demands of e-commerce and next-day delivery of goods, such vehicles are central and critical to the rapid flow of goods in a modern economy.
The Crown SP Series stock pickers are designed to not only move goods from point A to point B, but to provide safe, efficient, and highly customizable workstations for retrieving, documenting, packing, labeling and shipping of packages. Depending on how it’s configured, a single Crown SP Series stock picker can support tasks that require two or more individual workstations, thereby freeing up valuable space.
The new generation of SP Series order pickers provides exceptional, all-around visibility – in both directions of travel, as well as up and down. The middle window positioned between the controls is unique in the industry, giving operators an unobstructed view forward when the operator platform is elevated. The combination of mid-window, clear-view mast and optional panoramic overhead guard, greatly increases line of sight to obstacles, pedestrians and other lift trucks.
The controls of the SP Series allow operators to activate travel, lift and horn functions simultaneously. The height-adjustable controls also providing firm grab points so that operators feel secure working at heights. To support individual preferences, the patented adjustable steer wheel can be repositioned from a horizontal to a vertical orientation as desired – an industry-first innovation.
The platform structure has multiple integrated mounting rails which allow operators to customize the locations of necessary peripheral equipment. Due to its modular design, the SP can be configured with multiple platform widths, forward or rear-facing controls, overhead guard extensions, illumination packages and optional storage bins and attachments to support these tasks.
As a standard feature, the mast lowering function is also regenerative, meaning that energy is fed back into the battery whenever the mast is lowered. This feature reduces energy consumption. Lastly, the Crown SP is designed to work with lithium-Ion batteries which offer greater efficiency, longer battery
