The Curlsmith Defrizzion Curl Reviving Wand, is a set of styling wand specifically design for wavy, curly and coily hairs user. The tool was developed to enhance, refine and refresh curls maintaining a natural look.

Unlike traditional curling irons that make uniform curls, the Curlsmith Defrizzion Curl Reviving Wand has interchangeable barrels that are uniquely designed to seamlessly match your natural curl pattern and to visually resembles the behaviour and look of curly hairs.

The barrels are coated in our Plantsilk™ technology, a next generation blend of plant-derived esters used in some of your favourite Curlsmith products. Curls need treating carefully, so the Curlsmith Defrizzion Curl Reviving Wand offers an exclusive “curl care control” to let you set the minimum amount of heat needed to match your curls and hair texture (fine, medium or coarse).

The forms of the Curlsmith Wands are inspired by deep observation of the curly users, their unspoken habits and the very intimate relation that each user has with their hair. A key takeaway was the natural habit of “finger coiling”, where users take a small section of hair and wrap it around their index finger.

From that learning the team started developing forms that deviated from a plain geometrical profile and look more natural and relaxed. The hero wand is an amorphic wand that resemble the pattern of a curly hair section, a spiral tapered wand and a skinny tapered profile to address “baby hair” and tighter curl patterns.
