The D|13 Sink System featuring the XLERATORsync® Hand Dryer is a premier choice among high-end establishments and represents the future of sustainable commercial restrooms. A masterpiece of form and function, the sink seamlessly fuses high efficiency fixtures on the sink deck allowing users to wash, rinse, and dry hands all in one place, as a result, no water is left on the floor. With flexibility in the choice of color, shape, dimensions, and material, it is easy to have the sink system match the aesthetic of their restroom and facility.
This sink system is a collaboration between two industry leading manufacturers, D|13 Group and Excel Dryer. D|13 Group is in the business of designing, manufacturing and supplying high-end commercial products. Their goal is to become the specifying community’s and their clients’ design-assist partner. Empowered by a culture that encourages collaboration, D|13 works to foster trust and a true sense of partnership with their employees, supply partners and customers.
Excel Dryer manufactures touchless, American-made hand dryers to help commercial facilities create a hygienic restroom environment. They manufactured the XLERATORsync Hand Dryer, which was integrated into this sink system to provide users with a way to dry their hands at the sink basin. In addition to this dryer, they are manufacturers of the XLERATOR® product line and the ThinAir® Hand Dryer. The company’s safe, hygienic hand drying solutions provide an effective way to achieve completely dry hands, the top defense against the spread of germs.
The D|13 Sink System featuring the XLERATORsync Hand Dryer has been included in many projects including Excel Dryer’s own 5,000-square-foot office expansion which was done by the Boston architecture firm Fennick McCredie (FM) Architecture. The goal of this project was to have the most beautiful, healthy, sustainable, and functional office space possible. They achieved this by incorporating many different biophilic design elements into the renovation such as a floor-to-ceiling living wall which creates a lush backdrop for their expansive conference room.
The D|13 Sink System’s XLERATORsync Hand Dryer has a new Electrostatic HEPA (eHEPA®) Filter which is proven to remove 99.999% of viruses and 99.97% of bacteria from the airstream. This is a more durable filter than traditional fiberglass media HEPA filters which are typically made from fragile Borosilicate glass microfiber, which is prone to tearing.
Having an installation like the D|13 Sink System featuring the XLERATORsync Hand Dryer in a premium renovation easily eliminates the mess that paper towels cause restrooms in other facilities while providing offices with major cost savings. Additionally, the XLERATORsync is Works With WELL Certified, a certification that highlights products that focus on the health and well-being of building occupants, making this the ideal product to make people feel safe using in the restroom.
