The Dexcom G7 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System was engineered with safety, comfort, and convenience in mind at all steps of the design process.

The rounded form factor with a chamfered top surface makes the wearable device look small and discreet and makes it more comfortable to wear. The applicator was created based on the cylindrical form factor to control the overall volume of the device. The diameter of the bottom architecture does not exceed 55mm so users with different hand sizes are able to get a good grip— providing a comfortable and intuitive tactile experience that makes deployment easy for users of different abilities who may have physical limitations with neuropathy or vision.
