The kitchen model Elementi is characterized by rational and clean shapes that enhance the exclusivity of the materials from which is manufactured.
The detail of the inclined handle “groove” cuts sharply into the monolithic base cabinets drawing a shadow that combines both function and aesthetics.
The kitchen can be personalized with unique materials such as ribbed aluminum-wood, 3D diamond-effect aluminum, PVD coated Stainless Steel, powder-coated aluminum, ceramic, and glass.
The manufacturing of these finishes brings together the latest technology with the finest craftsmanship.
The ribbed aluminum-wood fronts are manufactured by crossing and bonding a double layer of wood veneer onto a honeycomb aluminum panel. After edging, the front is milled revealing the aluminum core into a ribbed pattern. This process is followed by the final staining and varnishing. The sharpness of the noble metal is beautifully balanced by the warmth of the wood.
The 3D diamond-effect aluminum is fabricated by calendaring the aluminum sheet to imprint the three-dimensional shape. The sheet is then bonded on a honeycomb aluminum panel and edged with an aluminum estrusion.
The PVD stainless steel and the powder-coated aluminum finishes are bonded on an aluminum panel with a corrugated core. The panels are then milled on four sides to insert an HPL plank with the “mille righe” design typical of Elementi. The ceramic and glass versions are fabricated by applying the sheet materials onto an aluminum frame with the “mille righe” detail on the outer edges.
In addition to the materials, the kitchen Elementi is characterized by a system of monolithic blocks that encourage the design of pure-volume kitchens. The system’s distinctive sign is the graphic lines milled into the ceramic or natural stone. This design detail hides the joints between the worktop, the side panels, and the island front panel.
The inset worktop is designed with a double rim to contain spillage of liquids and food. The floating table “Sospiro” is the ultimate addition to the system. The 270x90cm table is completely supported by a structure fully integrated into the island block and base units. The table is overhanging by 90cm lengthwise and 90cm depth wise on the island side, and 60cm in depth in front of the island. The table available in wood veneer, is designed with a 30° edge to emphasize the peculiarity of its design.
