Equalizer, a groundbreaking architectural lighting object inspired by architectural concrete reinforcement structures and suitable for both residential and commercial applications. This design uniquely combines aesthetics and innovation.
The Equalizer consists of a central profile with vertical tubes on both sides, equipped with both uplights and downlights. This makes it possible to adapt the lighting to specific spatial and lighting needs. Thanks to its modular design, the Equalizer can be delivered as a flatpack and can be transformed on site into various configurations, fully customised to the customer.
We found inspiration for the Equalizer in the concrete reinforcement structures, where reinforcement bars cross each other perpendicularly. The rhythm and the difference in height of the tubes give the object a dynamic appearance, comparable to the visualisation of a digital sound wave. This formed the basis for the name Equalizer.
With the Equalizer, we at DARK are once again adding a unique and beautifully designed object to our portfolio. The light object is made of aluminum, a lightweight material that is available in various finishes, such as powder coating or an anodised brushed surface. The pendant luminaire is available in various sizes and finishes, making it a versatile addition to any space.
