1. Cantilever Design: The desk’s underside is completely open on one side, providing unlimited legroom for single users and convenience for multiple users by eliminating obstructive structures. This wide open space offers visual comfort and can hold many items without issues.
2. Patented Stainless Steel Structure: Addressing the warping and deformation in natural wood is challenging. Most wooden furniture is thick and heavy due to these problems. I created a sturdy yet not overly heavy solution with the patented stainless steel structure, allowing the desktop to be thin despite its large size (30mm thickness).
3. Easy Assembly and Disassembly: Most furniture that can be assembled is not made from natural materials and faces issues with size, weight, and structure. The ‘Floating Desk’ can be assembled and disassembled thanks to its stainless steel structure, easing packing, shipping, and installation.
4. Open Storage Space: The desk surface, made of two panels, offers vast storage space and allows access from any direction without drawers or doors. Most storage solutions have directional constraints, but this design provides ample storage capacity without them.
5. Size-Unlimited Design: The current Floating Desk, measuring 3 meters by 0.9 meters, demonstrates that its design has no size limitations. Its unique design and sturdy structure allow it to be made 10 meters (or more) long without altering the two-legged cantilever design.
6. Multi-Generational Longevity: Made from 100% natural wood and stainless steel, this desk has a long lifespan. Synthetic material furniture rarely lasts 5-10 years and suffers damage over time. The durability of natural wood and stainless steel is well-known, contributing to environmental protection.
