Füm is a natural diffusive device that combines flavor, fidget, and fixation to develop positive habit formation. It solves a common problem people have of being unable to break the cycle of bad habits. Füm is an innovative device that contains no harmful chemicals or vapors. Füm takes volatile oils naturally occurring in plants and engineers them into small cores that can be inhaled through a diffusive device. Füm worked with Design 1st to create a handcrafted, natural wood device that is comfortable to hold and provides a pleasant tactical experience. For Füm to succeed in its mission to help people break bad habits, it was necessary to understand that people develop habits from pleasurable experiences. To create an engaging device, the Füm features a detachable organic wooden base that can be changed for a different color or pattern, allowing users to match their device to their outfit or mood. The top of the Füm device has a metal tip with two finger grooves that help mimic hand-to-mouth oral fixation with an easy-to-disinfect surface.
The entire inside of the Füm, and tip, are made of metal for easy cleaning and disinfection. The core is stored in a shoot inside the device, attached to a spring, ensuring that the core doesn’t come out when apart. The adjustable airflow design allows users to control the airflow for the perfect drag and close the device to ensure maximum freshness when not in use. Users know when the device is closed from the purposefully designed clicking sound. The bottom part of the device is detachable and easily snaps back into place using a magnet for easy assembly. This device is non-electric, so users do not have to worry about the device dying.
