Created in collaboration between Landscape Forms and Loll Designs, the Harvest line of communal tables and seating brings us together to share our experiences outdoors. Including rectangular tables in standing and dining heights, a round standing height table, a round dining height table, a round casual height table, a round side table, and a fire pit table, the Harvest line welcomes a full range of postures from upright and more formal to low-to-the-ground, kicked back and fully relaxed.
Running throughout the Harvest line is the theme of elevating togetherness, both with one another and with nature. It addresses the different reasons and modes by which people come together, offering solutions that are tailored to enhance these types of moments—whether it’s dining, socializing, meeting, working, or simply relaxing. Corresponding Harvest benches and stools round out the line, and options for integrated mood lighting on rectangular tables and a fire pit insert on the round casual height table ensure Harvest line comfortably gathers people in daylight or moonlight. Applications for the Harvest line can range from public outdoor gathering areas, to productivity-focused outdoor spaces on college and corporate campuses, to high-design amenity spaces in hospitality and residential settings.
Pre- and post-consumer recycled high density polyethylene (HDPE) is used to sustainably provide Harvest’s surface a long, vibrant, and low-maintenance life outdoors. Because of this longevity, durability and lack of maintenance, HDPE is used in countless practical applications, and single-use milk jugs—something that too often is destined for the landfill—make up the bulk of Loll’s post-consumer recycled material. An estimated eight recycled milk jugs are given new life in every pound of Loll material, and since 2005 the brand has diverted and recovered over 135 million milk jugs from landfills.
Harvest’s understructure is crafted using commercial grade cast and extruded aluminum supports finished with Landscape Forms’ proprietary polyester powdercoating to resist fading and chipping. Known as Pangard II, this finish is free of lead and hazardous air pollutants (HAPS), does not generate hazardous waste, and contains less than 1% volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Once processed, these trace VOCs are fully inert, therefore the finish does not release airborne contaminants.
In total, Harvest tables contain up to 77% pre- and post-consumer recycled content depending on product specification. Harvest ships using 100% recyclable packing materials and, at the end of a long, hardwearing life, Harvest itself is 100% recyclable. Harvest helps receive credits under the LEED 2009 Rating System including the EA Credit 2: Optimize Energy Performance for the efficiency of LED lighting and the MR Credit 4: Recycled Content for its use of pre- and post-consumer recycled HDPE. SCS Global Services has independently assessed the cradle-to-grave carbon footprint of Harvest based on ISO 14067:2018, finding that the total carbon footprint for the product is 930 kg CO2e per each functional unit.
