The new HP LaserJet Tank series of Continuous Toner Supply System laser printers (CTSS) were created for entrepreneurs and small business owners looking for reliable, cost-efficient, business printing. The innovations and intuitive features in the new series along with the HP Toner Refill System and the HP Smart App, better support the next generation of entrepreneurs and business owners by streamlining print management and help benefit HP as the continued brand of choice.
As a second-generation design, a 17% reduction in size was achieved by optimizing toner tank design when compared to 1 st generation CTSS printers. The aesthetic continues and builds from the previous generation of HP LaserJet printers and maintains the beauty and simplicity of the product architecture for the brand.
The inspiration for the new LaserJet Tank Series printers design is that form instructs function: Understanding for the user is brought forward in this new, clean form factor. The toner gauge located on front surface of the printer help users know the toner level status and an overfill protection lock located near refill port communicates when the printer is ready for refill and prevents overfill.
The full end-to-end user experience design is focused on quick, straight-forward and seamless set-up through the revolutionary, mess-free toner refill system. The dust cover has also been redesigned based on global environmental requirements for the users in different regions.
For the automatic document feeder (ADF) model, the user control panel is located on the paper cover for better user accessibility and function. For those with high-volume printing needs, the HP LaserJet Tank series printers features automatic duplex printing, a 40- sheet auto document feed support and a 50,000- page long-life imaging drum to ensure consistent, exceptional printing even with daily use.
Regarding sustainability impact, the LaserJet Tank series of printers have Energy Star certification & EPEAT Silver designation. HP Toner Reload Kit saves 90% waste over previous versions: 75% plastic reduction. The optimized tank design is 17% smaller size over previous versions, minimizes footprint yet optimizes print output. The printer is manufactured utilizing post-consumer recycled plastic. The printers are recyclable through the HP Planet Partners program.
