Jianshang Sports Center project is located at the intersection of Jianshang Road and New District Avenue, Minzhi Street Road, Longhua District, Shenzhen, with Jianshang Road to the northwest, New District Avenue to the southwest and Minyue North Road to the northeast. The total surface of the construction area is 62,809.29 square meters and has a height of 53.9 meters with 5 floors above ground and 2 floors below ground.
The Jianshang Sports Center is the first vertically distributed sports venue in China to adopt a high-rise split-level design. Once praised as “the ladder of Giants” by the People’s Daily, this figurative image illustrates the form strategy adopted by the building when adapting to the site conditions and functional requirements.
The Kanami Sports Center is committed to providing a multi-functional sports and leisure space for the public. As a landmark building, the project not only features advanced sports facilities, but also seeks to achieve environmental sustainability and energy efficiency through innovative design and green building technologies.
The design concept of Jiansang Sports Center is “green, intelligent and future” as the core, aiming to build a low-carbon, energy saving, environmental protection and comfortable space. Every design detail of the building fully considers the impact of the ecological environment, and strives to harmoniously integrate with the surrounding natural landscape and urban environment.
The project uses highly efficient façade insulation, combined with natural ventilation and intelligent lighting systems, to significantly reduce the building’s energy consumption.
The rainwater collection and reuse system is set up in Jiansang Sports Center to reduce the waste of water resources and the daily water costs of the building. Efficient photovoltaic panels are installed on the roof and façades to maximize the use of renewable energy and enhance the building’s energy self-sufficiency. Building materials with low volatile organic compounds (VOC) ensure indoor air quality and enhance user comfort and health. The building terrace has green areas, which not only beautify the environment, but also play a role in thermal insulation.
Sustainable development concept: As a landmark sports building, Jianshang Sports Center not only meets the needs of modern people for sports and leisure space, but also shows the development trend of future architecture through green building concept and innovative design. The design of the building fully responds to China’s advocacy of green buildings, and is committed to providing users with a healthy, comfortable, energy-saving and environmentally friendly sports space. The project not only focuses on the sustainability of the building itself, but also promotes the improvement of the urban environment and improves people’s quality of life through the application of green technology.
