

Road venture AT52 is an all-terrain tire for pickup trucks, SUVs, and JEEP vehicles. As overseas travel became difficult due to the influence of Corona, they wanted to travel like camping. In addition, the market for pickup trucks and SUVs is gradually expanding around the world, including North America.
Reflecting this trend, AT52 was born. Existing off-road tires are designed to provide optimal performance in different environments and climatic conditions at the same time, both on and off-road, by improving the disadvantage of poor ride comfort on-road. It provides the best traction off-road and provides a comfortable ride on general roads.
To prove this, 3PMSF (3 Peak Mountain Snowflake Symbol) certification and M+S certification have been obtained. There are two major improvements to the product: design and compound. First, design: Not only aesthetic elements, but also design itself has functions (performance).
It was designed to be strong and aggressive to show the characteristics of off-road tires.
1) To improve off-road traction – a shoulder block design with a sawtooth-like shape was applied.
2) For comfortable and quiet driving on general roads – pitch blocks of five lengths are randomly arranged by computer simulation.
3) Optimized groove width and position were applied to improve traction on off-road and drainage on general roads.
4) To improve durability and wear performance – a rigid structural design with center blocks engaged with each other is applied, which improves straight driving performance.
5) Sawtooth-shaped site bytes play a functional role in minimizing tire damage while giving an aggressive image. Second, Compound: Non-uniform wear has an adverse effect on performance and shortens the lifespan of the product. This can cause fatigue to the driver.
As a way to prevent this, a compound was manufactured/researched along with the product tread pattern and structural design. It is manufactured with an optimal polymer combination ratio. This new compound reduces the risk of Cut & Chip occurrence and helps to wear uniformly. Tire manufacturers are socially responsible for their environmental impact.
Increasing the product’s usage cycle is one of the ways. The optimal compound developed for AT52 not only improves durability against various external stimuli, but also improves the product usage cycle. This can soon reduce the number of waste tires and reduce environmental pollution from disposal.
