Linea is a new range of wiring devices that aims to innovate the traditional control, while incorporating the latest advancements in digital connectivity. The design is unique, characterized by absolute thin planarity and a slender profile that perfectly fits the wall. The patented control protrudes gently from the surface and always returns to its original position, while an original downlight beam increases its personality. The architecture allows for a free combination of more than 200 devices, including connected functions that improve life (at home or in hotels) through automated services and remote control via mobile or voice control.
Linea responds to the mutated context in style, technology, and customer behavior, by offering a comprehensive range of wiring devices that combine an improved physical control with the latest advancements in digital connectivity. It was designed from scratch, interviewing hundreds of installers, architects, and end-users to understand old and new needs. Simplicity and essentiality drive both aesthetics and usability. The classic architecture makes it familiar. At the same time, Linea looks for differentiation, introducing new original features (24 patents) and functionalities that enable innovative services for energy management and wellbeing.
The shape is characterized by absolute planarity and thinness, obtained through an ultra-rigid frame and new flat and low-depth devices. The rocker protrudes gently, breaking the continuity of the surface and generating a unique vertical light beam. Verticality is reinforced by the extended (53mm) dimension. A patented innovation allows the control to always return to its original position, thus preserving intact the unique profile of Linea. The pleasant soft-touch feel is obtained through a special mould laser processing. Linea offers 12 cover plate finishes in several materials: technopolymer, reflex (with a realistic glass effect) and metal.
Linea improves the traditional physical control, proposing a protruding and enlarged (53mm) rocker, for an easier identification by touch. It incorporates the most recent digital ways of control, introducing a new proprietary and user-friendly app for mobile devices and featuring full compatibility with voice assistants. The modular architecture allows for a combination of more than 200 functions, including climate, shutters, loads and doors control. Further benefits come from innovative services for assisted living: a radar sensor detects human breath, sends warnings in case of danger, allows sanitisation when people are outside. With Linea, tradition meets innovation. Linea evolves the traditional architecture of wiring devices into a unique and modern design, characterized by thin planarity and a patented returning rocker, equipped with a unique vertical light beam. It allows for integrating connectivity in all suitable functions and improves compatibility with third parties, through a mesh Bluetooth/Zigbee technology. 24 registered patents improve traditional features: the axial control perfectly works on an extended length of 53mm; the new hooking system improves maintenance. Cutting-edge functionalities, such as a disruptive radar, open the way to new services.
Linea life cycle environmental impact is evaluated through the PEP eco-passport certification. Packaging is made of plasterboard, coming from responsibly managed forests (FSC certified), printed with water-based ink, and recyclable on paper. Metal plates are obtained through cold forging and PVD finishes, thus eliminating galvanic processes, thanks to the patented application of a new alloy. Linea improves the quality of life through connectivity, voice control and automated functions, like an innovative radar sensor that signals dangerous situations, such as falls. Energy and climate control help reduce consumption and the environmental impact.
