We wanted to design a luxury dive watch range that had both a strong colour narrative and a mesmerising dial. Because we didn’t want to create a watch that’s just beautiful to look at. We also wanted to create a watch that would also be absorbingly interesting every day you wear and look at it, that plays and flirts with the varying lighting conditions wearers find themselves in. And we also wanted to design bold colours to suit people’s varying clothing and moods. We called it the Manta because the Manta Ray has a beguiling distinctive beauty and is different to most other creatures in the sea…and that, like our watch, stands out from the crowd!
