Midea launched the Midea EVOX central inverter heat pump system because HVAC service providers need flexible and advanced product solutions that can address their need to supply an upgraded experience in homes and meet evolving SEER standards – all without increasing costs for consumers.
EVOX is a system offering that takes customer and contractor concerns into account. There is something for everyone: an advanced yet affordable system; an easy-to-install system that can adapt to most of the installation conditions and changing demands; and an energy-efficient system that doesn’t compromise on comfort. EVOX was designed to provide flexible and compatible HVAC improvement solutions for every home or business.
Midea EVOX is an affordable inverter product lineup that reaches up to 18.4 SEER2. Few residential high-performance heat pump products on today’s market can match the expansive system capacity, superior heating performance and high energy efficiency of EVOX cold climate heat pumps, all on a family-friendly budget! Available in a wide capacity range from 1.5 – 5 tons, all EVOX cold climate heat pumps are capable of 100 percent heating output at -4 degrees Fahrenheit, eliminating the need for auxiliary heat strips. This ensures the EVOX heat pump can fit almost any sized house and can operate optimally in essentially every climate condition in North America.
Designed in close collaboration with U.S. HVAC contractors, the EVOX system offers unprecedented flexibility with the ability to mix and match with existing ducted and ductless equipment (even non-communicating) and the ability to adapt to most installation conditions. By delivering only the needed level of airflow, the EVOX air handler unit (AHU) can reduce the energy waste of excess airflow. Computational Constant Airflow (constant CFM Blower) enables airflow to automatically adapt to the existing ductwork designs and issues caused by blocked coils, dirty filters and improper duct sizing by adjusting output power and fan speeds.
Easy to maintain, EVOX AHUs offer both horizontal and vertical installation options, a removable slide-out blower, a corrosion-resistant aluminum evaporator coil, intelligent diagnostics and easy access to the adaptive control system for simple maintenance and repair. EVOX is a qualifying heat pump product that makes residential users eligible for recently introduced federal tax credits and utility rebates while conforming with various existing and forthcoming electrification mandates from cities and states. Under new tax guidelines in the Inflation Reduction Act, homeowners who install qualifying heat pumps like EVOX in 2023 are eligible for tax credits up to $2,000.
