Clean, functional, high-quality, timeless, sculptural design that follows the Golden Ratio. No fussy details and instantly recognizable.
All models feature a stainless-steel body with a riffled surface (legally protected). This ensures a much better and more relaxed grip and prevents the grinder from slipping out of hand.
All models feature the same professional, high-precision, tampered grinding mechanism made of special stainless steel (x-metal) that produces optimal grinding quality and homogenous particles. Additionally, the grinding mechanism can be fully disassembled and replaced.
Two stainless-steel micro ball bearings ensure the stainless-steel rotating shaft turns smoothly, remains centered and runs backlash-free.
The unique, finely adjustable (16.7 μm / 25 μm) grinding degree setting is lockable and reversible. You set and read off the setting using the scale / scale disk. That means there is no need to count the clicks as you turn the knob. The finely branded settings are so close together that they provide practically continuous adjustment. Another advantage is that the grinding degree does not change during grinding or by accident.
The grinding degree range covers more than 80 extremely fine gradations (advanced 16.7 μm / definite 25 μm) from superfine for mocha/Ibrik to coarse for Karlsbad coffee. Especially for espresso, you can set a uniquely precise particle size for the coffee powder.
The stainless-steel crank and the crank knob made of solid wood (dark oak, with a food-safe wax finish) are held in place in place with press studs and therefore removable.
The transparent, removable lid made of PMMA GS (cast acrylic glass) prevents the popcorn effect (coffee beans jumping out during grinding) and helps you see how much coffee is in the jar.
The two glass jars have a comfortable twist-off connection with an O-ring (made of EPDM, FDA certified). This holds the screwed-on jar securely in place. The grinder comes with 1 clear glass jar and 1 matt glass jar, each with a tinplate screw-top lid with a blueseal© (TPE) seal. One jar is filled with cleaning granulate.
A sleeve made of hook-and-loop fabric (PA) lined with felt and with a strap and ring eyelet protects the grinder body and holds the crank for storage and transport. First, pull off the crank knob, place it into the jar, then screw the jar onto the mill body.
