In an increasingly more stressful society, there has been an increased focus on mindfulness meditation, as a method to support workers’ mental health. The “Mindfulness Booth”, by combining a soft and sophisticated design with the functionality that allows for easy assembly and compact storage, makes it possible to create a personal meditation area in the office.
The “Mindfulness Booth”, with its delicate design and user-friendly features, offers a myriad of new possibilities for use in any workspace. The customized design of the panel at the appropriate height blocks the internal and external line of sight. Where the entrance is located facing a wall, the “Mindfulness Booth” easily creates a private space in any open space. The main body of the “Mindfulness Booth” consists of four very lightweight felt panels.
Weighing approximately 3.6 kg in total and able to be connected by hook-and-loop fasteners, the “Mindfulness Booth” can be easily assembled, moved or relocated by one person.
The panels can be easily removed from the base. Vertical slits cut into the outside of the panels mean that the “Mindfulness Booth” can be rolled up and compactly stored when not in use. The “Mindfulness Booth”, in combination with the “Mindfulness Stool”, can be used not only as a meditation space but also as a prayer space or a relaxation space depending on regional, cultural or religious wants or needs.
