Oral-B iO Series 2 embraces the beauty of simplicity. The brush head seamlessly transitions into the handle, creating a smooth silhouette. The prominent button is easy to locate on the handle and operates as a single control, ensuring effortless usability.
Inspired by a pebble in a riverbed, the form of the button integrates the brand’s signature design elements (circle and lozenge) into a captivating new shape.
The button is ergonomically sculpted for comfort, with a concave contour providing a comfortable grip and natural resting area for the thumb. The satin surface texture of the handle adds a touch of elegance and enhances the gentle look & feel.
The technological aspects of the toothbrush are intentionally downplayed. The conventional power icon has been visually transformed, drawing attention to the pill-shaped LED indicator for battery charge. The ring icon has been fragmented into an array of raised dots, allowing for haptic feedback that can be felt blindly.
Everything down to the detail has been crafted into an orchestrated multi-sensorial experience centered around gentleness & simplicity (aesthetics, haptic and auditory experience). Anything that is not essential to the overall experience is hidden, resulting in a clean and uncluttered design.
