The design of the Philips Hue Table Lamp lightguide draws inspiration from the ancient oil lamp, blending modern and traditional craftsmanship. The bulb is made of handblown glass in various shapes, while the base is 3D-printed using bio-circular materials. This innovative approach results in two design variations for the base: cylindrical and cone-shaped, both crafted from recycled and bio-circular materials. Additionally, the product is locally printed on demand, ensuring sustainability and reducing waste. This harmonious fusion of old and new not only highlights sustainability but also adds a touch of elegance to any space.
For the eye-catching lightguide bulbs we wanted to design a table lamp holder, but with the lowest impact for the environment.
The bases are designed to fit the Philips Hue Lightguide bulbs. The design emphasizes the combination of old and new production techniques.
For Hue the light experience is key. The products can be used via Bluetooth or the Philips Hue bridge.
It’s not the first lamp holder on the market but for sure the most sustainable one. Changing landfill into products.
Usage of recycled and bio-circular materials, in a package that is environmentally friendly, with plastic free packaging, reducing Co2 emissions, locally printed, and demand-driven,reducing transportation—local for local, we recycle your lamp.
