The playground is set against the backdrop of pine trees, situated near the central pine-lined pedestrian axis of the complex. Inspired by pine cones—commonly seen along the pine path—the sculptural play structure is designed with two pine cone-shaped forms of different sizes. These are connected by a long deck pathway, creating a layout that extends horizontally and aligns with the flow of movement across the site.
The structure supports various physical development activities and also incorporates rest areas, allowing children to enjoy both play and relaxation in a single space. The pine cone forms feature graceful curves and are finished in two tones of brown to enhance their visual appeal. LED line lighting is installed at intervals, providing ambient nighttime illumination and contributing to the playground’s scenic value after dark.
In the evening, the pine cone lights combined with the solar-powered lighting of the sky deck path create a soft, elegant, and warm atmosphere. Designed to harmonise with the pine-lined street in terms of form, colour, lighting, and overall mood, this playground offers a well-integrated and symbolic play experience within the complex.
