Additionally, the IKONIC® Hot Start Programming™ feature keeps the water heater in a ready state between back-to-back usage to minimize cold water burst Its best-in-class Turn Down Ratio (TDR) allows for tighter control over temperature output at all times, including lower demand periods.

The unit compact size, industry-best 1/2″ side-to-side clearance, field gas convertibility from natural gas to liquid propane, and available outdoor conversion kit (sold separately) make it suitable for a variety of installation scenarios.

IKONIC® offers maximum installation flexibility with the option to install using direct vent (outside air) or non-direct vent (room air) intakes. The ability to use room air intake allows installation in open areas like basements or garages, as well as in small spaces like closets with full louvered doors.

Additionally, IKONIC® makes upgrading from a standard tank water heater cleaner, faster and easier with longer PVC vent runs up to 70 feet, the ability to flex vent in existing B-vent up to 50 feet, and the capability to run on a 1/2″ gas line up to 24 feet. The unit is approved for installations in Manufactured Home (Mobile Home) environments as well, further expanding its versatility.
