Eldorado Stone’s Rivenwood is a new panelized stone veneer profile with wood grain characteristics. Inspired by the pioneering craftsmanship seen in 19th-century barns, Rivenwood is designed with authentic details such as nails, breaks, and knots with a unique patina that blends natural wood colors with unexpected tonal grains for an aged yet contemporary design. Each cut is made with varied heights to create an organic typography and biophilic feel.
Rivenwood is available in three colorways: Shelter Cove: an organic grey with flashes of silver and light brown, Tawny Brown: a rich, mature brown with lighter tones peppered throughout, and Shore Breeze: a fresh and creamy white.
Each colorway in the Rivenwood profile was designed to show textural diversity and intricate imperfections, giving a weathered, sawcut wood look while the profile’s slender pieces and complex hues contribute a current design aesthetic.
“Our goal with Rivenwood was to provide a uniquely contemporary profile that also pays homage to the artistry and versatility of reclaimed barnwood structures. This profile translates the beautiful aging process of wood into a captivating veneer format that would be right at home in transitional interior or exterior applications,” said Sarah Lograsso, Director of Marketing and Product Design at Eldorado Stone.
Rivenwood can be installed in interior or exterior spaces in residential homes and commercial buildings. The manufactured stone veneer is made of concrete and replicates sawcut wood textures and colors. Each stone is hand-painted piece by piece to create authentic details so that every space feels connected to organic elements. The end results are panels that are a few inches thick, lightweight, and able to adhere to a variety of surfaces. The veneer is also more cost-effective and sustainable than natural stone or wood while creating the illusion of a structural stone or wood wall.
