Stack is a system for stackable planters designed for the outdoor furniture line of the Swiss company Swisspearl. Pots and extension frames can be used to easily create plant containers of different heights. This is useful, since many plants require a certain beet depth to grow best; especially with the rising temperatures. The Plants then provide shade, evaporate water and improve their local climate.

The Stack raised beds can be supplemented with substructures such as castors or plinths. In urban spaces as well as in gardens, the system offers versatile possibilities for greening or growing vegetables and herbs. The plants also grow faster than in the ground because more heat reaches the soil. In addition, they are less susceptible to slugs and insects.

The widespread planting of repurposed wooden or metal containers in urban spaces indicates a strong need for such a product. An application in fibre cement aims to provide a more durable and architecturally convincing solution.
