This project aims to create a community-shared club that encourages interaction among residents through spaces such as a tea club, book bar, sunlit pool, gym, and yoga room. Its purpose is to enhance parent-child communication, promote physical well-being, and strengthen neighbourhood ties by fostering shared experiences among families.
The design integrates architecture, interiors, and soft furnishings to form a cohesive and engaging environment. Inspired by the qualities of crystals, the building is conceived as a light, transparent glass structure that departs from the enclosed nature of traditional architecture. Faceted surfaces reflect and refract light, increasing openness and visibility, and showcasing active, vibrant community life within the space.
To support this transparent design, the ground floor uses high-transmittance low-emissivity glass, complemented by custom deep white glass and dark gray anodised aluminum panels. This combination gives the façade depth and a light, floating appearance. High-performance materials such as Low-E glass ensure both clarity and structural integrity. A concealed structural system—using slender steel frames or tension supports—minimises visual obstruction, while glass curtain walls enclose the space without bearing loads, combining transparency with stability.
