It is known that the standard containers for household waste recycling have a very ordinary appearance and are difficult to sanitize. It is quite difficult to wash because of the large volume of water that can accumulate inside, making its removal very difficult, which is why optimal cleaning is avoided. Liquids from household waste can also accumulate, which can ferment and generate toxic bacteria.
In order to eliminate this inconvenience of sanitization, we have provided a hole with a sealing plug that can be opened so that the liquids accumulated occasionally or after washing can be evacuated very easily. I have chosen a similar corrugated sheet appearance to ensure greater impact resistance and to give a look inspired by vintage tin containers.
The color that indicates the type of waste I chose to be printed only on the lid, on the label on which the postal number can be indicated and on the drain plug
