Unifi is a dynamic lounge furniture collection designed to meet the demands of today’s fast-paced work environments. Designed by EOOS for Keilhauer, Unifi offers flexible comfort with a modular design that transitions easily from individual seating to collaborative group settings aided by casters and an integrated handle for effortless mobility.
With its mid-century-inspired design, soft upholstered seat, and industrial metal frame, Unifi makes every space feel intentional, flexible and undeniably stylish. Its soft seat is supported by a durable shell that can be designed with combo cover upholstery, allowing designers to play with textures, patterns and textiles.
The side chair’s fixed tablet is available in left- or right-hand configurations, while the lounge chair’s rotating tablet can be positioned for either side, both offering a functional work surface without sacrificing style.
As the demand for multi-functional workspaces grows, Unifi offers intentional, beautifully designed solutions that adapt to the changing needs of the day while maximising spatial efficiency. “We’re seeing a moment in interior design where there’s a real appetite for flexible, responsive work environments,” says Mike Keilhauer, CEO. “This new collection is designed to meet that moment through adaptable, intuitive features that bring both beauty and performance to the workspace.”
Unifi includes a range of seating options including lounge chairs available on casters or a sled base and multiple side chair models allowing designers to maintain visual consistency across spaces with varying requirements, from boardrooms and small meeting rooms to reception areas and individual offices. Its modular components can be grouped to create the appearance of a continuous bench, making it an ideal solution for environments that regularly shift between individual focus, small group collaboration, and larger gatherings.
As designers EOOS explain, “The idea of Unifi is the duality of classical upholstery and technical mobility—of ordered rows and free arrangement.”
In keeping with Keilhauer’s deep commitment to responsible and sustainable design, every aspect of Unifi has been thoughtfully developed with the wellbeing of our planet in mind. From sustainably sourced materials and responsible manufacturing to carefully planned end-of-life strategies, environmental impact is considered at every stage of the process.
Through our Design for Environment program, we evaluate a range of criteria across the product’s entire lifecycle: from raw material origin through production, use, and final disposal. We set measurable goals for each stage and integrate them into the design and manufacturing process.
Unifi is carbon neutral, built with FSC-certified wood to promote sustainable forestry, and meets the highest standards for environmental and indoor air quality through BIFMA LEVEL® 3, SCS Indoor Advantage™ Gold, and GreenHealth Approved® certifications.
