Von Cutlery Set has been designed to prioritize minimalism and also a feeling of luxury. It bears traces of the Nordic design approach with its aesthetic and functional features.

Von, which means “hope” in Icelandic, is designed by reconciling the feeling of hope, which is indispensable for human nature to hold on to life, with the act of eating that humans have to live.

The set was inspired by the purity of the feeling of hope. Within this cutlery set, we wanted to create a design that would be minimal but admirable by considering the details.

Von, which includes surfaces that users will be curious about as they interact and examine the details, prioritizes purity and simplicity. It is a cutlery set that aims to contribute richness at the table and away from the crowd. It attracts attention with its flowing form and curved surfaces.

These surfaces are completed with a form that emulates Karaca’s corporate design approach, the “Streamline” line.
