Yoto Player is a connected audio player for children that inspires independent learning and play, building kids’ confidence as they grow.
A key feature of the Yoto experience is the use of physical cards to play content, so unlike smart speakers, kids are safely in control. Kids explore what inspires them, choosing from a range of hundreds of stories, songs, radio stations and podcasts.
The 3rd generation Yoto Player has a clean and robust design, high quality sound, USB-C and wireless charging, a room thermometer, bluetooth headphone support and a simple pixel display for visual feedback.
The device is microphone and camera free and safe for kids of all ages to explore. Reports from parents indicate that Yoto is much loved by families at bedtime so a special bedtime mode was developed. It activates when the device is placed face down turning on a night light. Parents can use in-built sleep sounds and sleep radio as well as a toothbrush timer to reinforce bedtime routines.
The distinctive shape is optimized for audio quality and allows the device to be placed upright on a table or tipped back with the pixel display facing the child.
Studies show that today’s children have less independence, which is fueling a mental health crisis. The landscape of childhood has transformed in ways that are profoundly affecting the way children develop, limiting their ability to play independently, to roam beyond the supervision of adults, to learn from peers, and to build resilience and confidence.
Yoto allows kids to lead the way with an audio player designed from the ground up for kids and content that facilitates independence from parents. Unlike smart speakers, kids are safely in control.
