Taejae University is a university in South Korea that opened in 2023.

Taejae University is a digital university without a specific campus where students from all over the world come together and integrate as one on the digital campus.

The name “Taejae” originates from the Confucian scriptures of I Ching and means “Great Harmony”. Moreover, the university’s philosophy aims to bring about a new harmony through the clash of opposites just as in the harmony of yin and yang, and both the name and philosophy of Taejae University emphasize the value of “harmony.”

To represent this harmony, the English letters T and J of “Taejae” were expressed in a joining circular image.

The pixelated dot motif in “T” represents the students who are diverse individual subjects in the digital platform.

As a mixture of colors red and blue, the color purple represents the harmony of opposites, while the color mint symbolizes students’ creativity and innovative education.
